Lightning Mushrooms were formed in the late summer of 2018 by the twins Hajo (drums) & Rolf (guitar) and Paul (guitar) in Marburg/Germany. After covering Bands like Misfits, Karma to Burn and My Sleeping Karma, first songs were written. Dr. Juice (bass) joined mid 2019 and Erwin (vocals) during the pandemic 2020. I've been a fan of Demonio since their first album, and this one is even better! The music has a lot more blues and psychedelic influence this time around, and it pays off big time. The guitar has a lot of distortion and reverb which makes the riffs feel like you are traveling through time and space. And the bass holds down a solid groove in the background to keep the music moving forward. This is some great fuzzy music and if you are into underground heavy psych, definitely pick this one up.
